U.S. Mainland travel. Access the Safe Travels app to submit required travel information 24 hours prior to your flight departure. If you’re participating in the State’s pre-travel testing program, learn about their drive-through and at-home testing options. Negative test results must be received prior to the final leg of travel into Hawaii. Otherwise, the State of Hawaii requires that you quarantine for 10 days or the length of your stay, whichever is shorter. As of April 5, 2021, Kauai has rejoined the State of Hawaii’s Safe Travels pre-travel testing program for trans-pacific travel.
